    Chris hi

When I lived in Innisfail, i used to spray with a mixture of garlic and chilli. Maina athing is to respray after the rain – which there was almost daily as you know.

The other thing i found out was that some tomaot varieties were “better”than others to grow ie they needed less intervention on my part. Sorry i live d there so long ago i can’t remember the varieties i grew, but i do remember that the smaller cherry toms did better than the larger sanger variety.

    Hopes this helps

the only control method that really works is to remove ALL bugs by grabbing them with a small pair of kitchen tongs and throwing them into a bucket of water. Try to remove them when they are small, before they get to breeding stage. Also check the underside of tomato leaves for patches of bright orange or yellow eggs and either rub the eggs off, or remove that leaf.
