Grafting Fruit Trees
I’ve heard it’s possible to graft fruit trees from the Rosaceae family (apples, pears, plums, peaches…) onto an ornamental purple-leaved plum. I’d love to do this to my ornamental plum – otherwise i’m pulling it out. Has anyone in Canberra tried this? Advice and/or recommendations for a horticulturist/gardener who I might consult with appreciated.
